This incident caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
