200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

To make the Drink (produces 850ml, serving 10)

400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Directions

For the Citrus Syrup: Combine the listed ingredients in a pan, heat until it reaches a simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Next, take off the heat and leave to cool down entirely. Pour into a sealable bottle, cap it and refrigerate it chilled, it will last for about four weeks.

For the Cocktail Base: Combine all the liquids into a sizeable container, let it rest for 60 minutes, then filter it best through muslin, making it completely strained.

For serving: Measure 85ml from the batch mix into your stirring glass filled with ice, and stir gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Filter into an frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, garnish with some cranberries adding the final touch using a brief mist of mandarin oil over the top.
